Richland Source dug into the story behind Godsfield in this Feb. 1 feature — a faith-based nonprofit founded by Rev. El Akuchie and Pastor Paul Lintern, now uniting denominations across Mansfield around a single mission: loving the city and restoring lives. Executive Director Jessica Wilging shared the vision driving the movement — answering Jesus’ prayer in John 17 that His followers would be brought into complete unity — and previewed what’s ahead: the 31-night March of Prayer, the National Day of Prayer on May 7, and the Festival of Hope coming to the heart of Mansfield. As Wilging put it, “We aren’t against each other, but for each other.”
